Join us for a river and reef tour to tropical Frankland Islands on The Great Barrier Reef.
The Frankland Island day tour will take you to Frankland Islands an archipelago located 10km offshore, about 45km south east of Cairns.
Firstly the day will start with your free pick up from Cairns accommodation. And then journey south approximately 1 hour to meet up with you boat the turtle islander at the township of Deeral.
The you will be taking a leisurely 30 minute cruise down the Mulgrave River lined by rainforest and mangroves.
Then a quick crossing to Frankland Islands the shortest of any Great Barrier Reef day tour. Normandy island is surrounded by sandy beaches with reefs that you can snorkel straight from the shore.
Here you have up to 4 hours to relax and explore.
Snorkel or (dive the reef extra cost) or try our kayaks and paddleboards.
And enjoy a fresh served tropical lunch.
In conclusion to top off the day on the way home with some croc spotting from the boat.
Before arriving back to your Cairns accommodation.
Adventure Snorkel Safari
In addition we take you by boat to the western side of Frankland island for our adventure snorkel safari. Hop into the water and drift snorkel back around to the beach. On your way you’ll discover coral gardens, full of hard and soft corals, giant clams and an abundance of colourful fish.
Once again, our snorkel guides will be with you along the way to point out the highlights of our beautiful reefs and ensure your safety at all times.
