Kuranda Koala Gardens

Kuranda Koala Gardens is our award-winning ’boutique’ wildlife experience. That gives visitors a great opportunity to meet some of Australia’s iconic wildlife. Take the opportunity to ‘Cuddle a Koala’ (extra cost includes a digital souvenir photo).

At Koala gardens you will see koalas, quokkas, freshwater crocodiles, kangaroos and wallabies, wombats, snakes, monitors and other reptiles. However join our Wildlife Keeper for a short guided walk through the Nocturnal Wonders exhibit. Learning about bilbies, possums and gliders. See our latest exhibit the ‘Aussie Bush Collection’ which has a fascinating mixture of marsupials and reptiles. Living together in the one ‘Aussie’ environment. Australian butterfly Sanctuary

Secondly Australian butterfly sanctuary is home to over 1500 butterflies. With butterflies from the local rainforest species Including the electric blue Ulysses. The Majestic Green and Yellow, Cairns Birdwing and the Monarch butterfly. Above all we offer a range of experiences for the whole family. From educational exhibits and guided tours through the aviary and breeding laboratory.
