Travel to Fitzroy Island on-board our return ferry air-conditioned catamaran with free tea and coffee on boarding the vessel. With over five hours to explore the island.
Sunlover Reef Cruise Check-in firstly at Reef Fleet Fleet Terminal from 8:30am – 9:15am and the boat departs at 9:30am sharp. Meanwhile Relax on Sunlover’s air-conditioned catamaran for the short 45-minute ride to tropical paradise of Fitzroy Island.Returns to the Cairns marina at approximately 5:30pm.
Certainly a favourite destination for Cairns locals, Fitzroy Island is 99 per cent lush rainforest, with gorgeous beaches, spectacular walking trails. Abundant coral and marine life and plenty of adventure activities.
During your time on the island, take a bush walk to the island’s summit or lighthouse, snorkel straight off the beach or simply sit back and soak up the serenity on the sandy shores of the famous Nudey Beach – voted the best beach in Australia.
Also check out the Cairns Turtle Rehabilitation Centre, an organisation that rehabilitates turtles back to health in a special facility on the island.

Further more If you looking at Quenching your thirst Foxy’s is a large Pacific Islands bar which is situated right on the beach front. About 100 metres from the resort buildings, south of the main creek (on the way to Nudey Beach). Foxy’s Bar features the best beachside view for sunset, pool tables, a dance floor and big sports TV.
Foxy’s has an excellent casual cafe style food menu including kids meals and provides a wide range of beers, wine and soft drinks plus a cocktail menu and the essential cappuccino! Zephyr Restaurant and the Pool Bar serves food and drinks.
Finally Join us for Happy Hour daily from 3-4pm and 8-9pm on Friday & Saturday evenings.
The General Store is located next to Foxy’s.
